| The Sweet Acacia's (Acacia farnesiana) blooms are wonderful little golden yellow puffballs with an amazingly sweet scent . Probably native of tropical America and introduced to Australia prior to European settlement. Multi-trunked shrub or small tree growing at least as wide as it does high Drought tolerant, but looks better and holds leaves longer with an adequate supply of water. Flowers attract many bees and butterflies. 8 Seeds Germination: 5-15 days Pre-treatment: Pour just-boiled water over seeds in a container and soak for 24 hours. Sow swollen seeds, re-treat others. Sowing: Depth of seed, keep warm and moist, but not wet. Zone: 8-10
