| Native to New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania this attractive wattle grows to around 1.5 metres in height with spread of around 2 metres. Slender stem with spreading branches the leaves (phyolldes) are narrow and quite stiff around 5 cm in length. Flowering occurs in winter and spring, pale yellow/cream in colour. As with all Acacia they are spectacular when in flower. Approx 15 seeds. Germination: 5-15 days Pre-treatment: Pour just-boiled water over seeds in a container and soak for 24 hours. Sow swollen seeds, re-treat others. Sowing: Depth of seed, keep warm and moist, but not wet. Zone: 8-10 |
