| An attractive, dense, compact shrub to some 2 to 3 metres with a similar spread with masses of flowers. Before the flower spikes open they are a velvety white , as they grow they become acorn-shaped in a bright gold and white changing to completely gold/orange. Excellent for attracting honey eating birds. Prefers well drained soil, avoid prolonged wet periods, if your soil tends to hold water it is better to build it up with a sandy mix to allow the water to drain.
