| Native to Australia the Blue Marble Tree is a fast growing, large, spreading, distinctive, rainforest tree, growing to 35 m tall. Alternately arranged oblong-elliptical leaves, 10-18 cm long, have shallow, toothed margins. Leaves are dark green above. Flowers are greenish or white, bell-shaped, with 5 fringed petals, in numerous racemes borne along branches from leaf scars. The fruits, which look like blue marbles, are edible (tasting like dates) and the blue seeds are used in seed craft. 3 large seeds Please Note; although many of the traditional “Bush Food and Medicine” seed we supply are now commercially produced in various forms we recommend you re-search these before using them as any form of food or medicines.
