| Eremophila fraseri, also known as Turpentine bush, is a shrub which is native to Western Australia. It usually grows to between 0.5 and 3 metres high. White, cream, pink, red, purple, brown flowers with purple dots on thick winged stalks to 20mm long between March and November in Australia (early autumn to late spring). Fruit is ovoid and slightly pointed. Prefers sandy or stony soils. This has to be one of the toughest plants you can grow. In the wild it survives baking dry desert conditions for months on end. Yet its overall appearance is of a green, glossy leaved shrub. It responds well to cultivation and benefits from an occasional hard prune. 5 seeds |
