| Variable in height, to 20 m but often smaller around 10 m with a spreading canopy. Widespread over the top end of Australia and is one of but a few Eucalypts found outside Australia in Java, Timor and Papua New Guinea. The attraction is the bark which is powdery white but salmon pink when the old bark is shed. Ovate leaves and creamy white flowers appearing in May to September Useful, ornamental tree in the tropics. Prefers area of summer rainfall. Approx 50-100 seeds |
