| Mallee are are ideal small tree for the garden atracting the birds and bees. A small tree from the central wheat belt of Western Australia growing 3-6m. The rough barked trunk is complimented with a lovely smooth Grey bark on the branchs. Flowers appear in late winter through to December. The green/yellow bud caps open to a creamy/yellow flower up to 5cm across. Not often cultivated which is a pity as it is a great honey making tree attracting the birds and bees when in flower. A good windbreak tree. Ideal for dry conditions,tolerates frost. Approx 100 seeds |
