| This species has a unique bark trait called "minni -ritchie" which is a rich , coopery red bark on the lower trunk. Smaller branches, buds and stem offer a powdery white bark. It is a small tree to about 7m with rounded leaves of silvery -blue foliage shaped somewhat like a heart. Creamy yellow flowers appear in group of 7 and the species has attractive gum-nuts. It prefers well-drained soils in a dry to moderate temperature climate. Seed germinated easily with normal method.
