| The largest Eucalyptus by volume, growing to only 45-60 metres it is not the highest, but has a solid massive trunk. The lower parts are a rough fissured gery or light tan that peels in ribbons. The branches on the upper tree are smooth and powdery white. Sickle shaped leaves 100-200mm long and often have a strong blue tint. White flower sin summer but in the older trees they are often to high to see. Suited better to colder winters that have frost, or snow. Seed requires cold to germinate, 6 weeks in the refrigerator will act as a cold winter, and they should then germinate within a few days. Approx 50-100 seeds |
