E.depauperata, a dwarf form of E.eremophila with bright yellow flowers. Single or multi stemmed tree with mallee habit around 2-3m in height. Dense canopy of foliage with a smooth polished brown bark. Leaves are grey-green or sometimes blue-green. Long narrow horn shaped buds, often reddish in colour are followed by showy bright yellow flowers during winter and spring.
One of the best small Eucalypts for the garden that takes a wide range of conditions, also an excellent honey tree. Frost and drought tolerant.
