| Seeds of some plant require the chemicals in smoke to germinate, some research has shown that it may also improve the germination rate of others. This is not required for all seeds as most will give good germination rates without it and do not need it. A dry granulated smoke-infused vermiculite, designed for use on seed trays at commercial levels, an economical way of applying smoke treatment on large and small scale levels. Simply apply to the surface of the growing medium and once watered the chemicals are released into the soil stimulating germination. Recommended application rate is 120 grams per square metre. Pkt contains 20 grams, enough for approx 75 50x50mm square growing tubes or 120 50mm diameter tubes
