Native to Mexico and Brazil this lovely shrub with erect habit and slender arching branches with flower over many months of the year can be trimmed as a hedge or makes a great pot plant on the patio. Leaves are oval with serrate edges and the flower blue and tubular with expanding lobes. The bright yellow berries appear in autumn and winter, these berries if left to drop will often germinate where they fall.
Adaptable to a range of climates and conditions. Prefers a rich moist well-drained soil in an open sunny position, drought and frost resistant.
