Variable in size depending on conditions this small shrub produces golden yellow spherical flowers from August to October in its natural range.
Prefers medium to heavy well-drained soil. Drought and frost are tolerant. Hardy species are suitable for arid and semi-arid conditions.
Occurs naturally in Western Australia, South Australia, and Victoria. Listed as endangered under the Threatened Species Conservation Act in New South Wales.
For best results, sow the seeds in spring or early summer. Sowings in autumn and winter may result in slow germination, weaker seedlings, or germination failure.
Germination: Typically occurs within two weeks.
