A small slender shrub or small tree with elegantly formed crowns and bright yellow flowers spheres borne in simple racemes about 30 mm long at the ends of branchlets from late July early to October.
Branches become pendulous during flowering due to the weight of the prolonged and prolific flowering.
Endemic to the southern coastal region of Western Australia extending into South Australia.
Prefers light to medium soils in an open sunny position. Ideal for coastal sandy soil and limestone areas. Frost and drought resistant.
For best results, sow the seeds in spring or early summer. Sowings in autumn and winter may result in slow germination, weaker seedlings, or germination failure.
Germination: Typically occurs within two weeks.
