An attractive small fast growing dense shrub that displays a profusion of yellow ball shaped flower that can often completely cover the plant from August to October.
Often seed growing at at the gravely roadside in the lower wheatbelt region of Western Australia.
Almost succulent like phyllodes (leaves) around 1-2 mm wide and 10-15 mm long finishing in a blunted point.
Endemic to the South-West Province of Western Australia around the Esperance region.
Prefers a gravelly soil but is adaptable to a range of well drained soils. Easily grown in most temperate areas, flowers best in full sun, frost hardy and drought tolerant with medium salt tolerance
For best results, sow the seeds in spring or early summer. Sowings in autumn and winter may result in slow germination, weaker seedlings, or germination failure.
Germination: Typically occurs within two weeks.
