Rounded shrub with a slender graceful stem with light green elliptical phyllodes (leaves) to 10 centimetres long. Large deep yellow flower balls occur in Autumn.
Occurring naturally in New South Wales and Queensland.

For best results, sow the seeds in spring or early summer. Sowings in autumn and winter may result in slow germination, weaker seedlings, or germination failure.
