An attractive small tree with an erect stem with graceful angular branches and clusters of yellow flower balls that occur profusely during spring and summer.
The phyllodes (leaves) are olive green, triangular in shape and gold tipped in winter.
Prefers light to medium soils in an open sunny position. Frost resistant but drought tender.
For best results, sow the seeds in spring or early summer. Sowings in autumn and winter may result in slow germination, weaker seedlings, or germination failure.
Germination: Typically occurs within two weeks.
