A majestic deciduous tree that grows at a fast pace and can reach a height of 3.5-5 meters in two years or less. Usually, it is a single stemmed tree, and new leaves have a beautiful bronze tint. It sheds its leaves during the cool or dry season. The flowers appear when the tree is leafless, and they hang down.

This tree is native to Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, and Thailand. It can adapt to a range of temperate to tropical areas but thrives in humid or sub-humid tropics with a short dry spell. It is vulnerable to frost.
Moreover, it is an excellent choice for cultivating a bonsai.

Pre-treatedment: scarified by abrading or soaking in just boiled water overnight.
Sow swollen seed, re-treat seeds that have not swollen.
Sow the depth of seed size keep warm & moist.

Germination: 14-28 days @ 20-24°C
