A dwarf version of the original Agapanthus with dark blue flowers that originates from South Africa. A reliable species for growing in a sunny border or container.
Adaptable to most soils but prefers a light to medium soil in an open sunny position.
Tropical: Late Winter to Early Summer.
Temperate: Spring to Early Summer.
Cold: Spring to Early Summer.
Sow: 6mm deep.
For best results sow directly into soil where they are to grow. If growing on trays transplant when large enough to handle avoid excessive root disturbance.
Germination: 14-28 days.
