An "All American Selection" winner in 1953 this heirloom variety of dwarf Sweet Alyssum Royal Carpet forms compact fragrant clumps of foliage covered with numerous purple flowers in four shades literally covering the plant from spring through to autumn. Blooms quickly from seed, easy to grow.
Ideal in rock gardens or between flagstones, pots, containers, or hanging baskets. A perfect companion with pansies, sweet William, and parsley in a container.
Readily self-seeds.
