Love-Lies-Bleeding will make a beautiful statement in your garden or as a wonderful container plant. Many parts of the plants, including the leaves and seeds, are edible and are frequently used as a source of food in India and South America
With attractive light green foliage this plant becomes loaded with carmine red, large drooping tassels of flowers plumes in mid-summer and blooms right to the middle of winter.
The long red trusses give the plants an ornamental and graceful appearance. These are great for drying and also make an impressive fresh-cut flower.
