An attractive free flowering shrub with a low spreading habit that is densely foliaged and white five petal flowers that occur profusely over a long flowering period from October to February with sporadic flowering at other times.
Short narrow aromatic fleshy leaves sometimes arranged in bundles along the stems.
Endemic to Western Australia.
Prefers damp, sandy soils in a partially shade position. It is drought tolerant but frost tender.
Although seed can be sown most of the year in Australia seed is generally best sown in spring or autumn in temperate climates, avoid the coldest and hottest months of the year. The optimum germination temperature for germination is around 18-22°C for this species.
Pre-treatment of smoke is recommended.
