ASTER Giant Perfection Mix - CALLISTEPHUS chinensis

This cottage garden favourite grows to a height of 90cm with large 10cm blooms in shades of white, red, purple and pink.
Asters make wonderful cut flowers as well as looking great in borders, beds or mass planting or mixed in a meadow garden.
Attracts honey bees and other beneficial insects.
Adaptable to most soils but prefers light to medium soil in an open sunny position, it is drought and frost-tender.
The best time to sow the seed is in Spring after the last frost.
- Plant the seeds in well-draining soil as they prefer moist soil but don’t like to be waterlogged.
- Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil and keep them moist but not wet.
- Position the pots in a warm and bright location, but not in direct sunlight.
- Once the seedlings emerge, you can transplant them into individual pots or your garden
Germination: 10 to 21 days.
