ASTER Single Mix - CALLISTEPHUS chinensis 1000g

A colourful mix of single-flowered China Asters in shades of purple, deep rose, pink, violet, and white.
Flowers appear from early summer up to the first frost.
A must-have in cottage gardens, borders, pots, and containers, ideal for cut flowers and floral arrangements.
Pinch off faded flowers to encourage new blooms.
Adaptable to most soils but prefers light to medium soil in an open sunny position, it is drought and frost-tender.

Feed with a soluble fertiliser every two weeks for stronger plants.
The best time to sow the seed is in Spring after the last frost.
- Plant the seeds in well-draining soil as they prefer moist soil but don’t like to be waterlogged.
- Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil and keep them moist but not wet.
- Position the pots in a warm and bright location, but not in direct sunlight.
- Once the seedlings emerge, you can transplant them into individual pots or your garden
Germination: 10 to 21 days.

- Please do not be too hasty to discard seeds that do not germinate; seeds will often lay dormant until the conditions are similar to their natural germination requirements.
- As with all seeds, they must have adequate water to germinate, keep them moist but not too wet.
