Bred for leaf quality and uniformity this basil has a very unique aroma and flavour; it is one of the more compact types and is excellent for growing in smaller herb gardens or pots. As with most basil it is quite easy to grow and is quite ornamental in looks.
The best time to sow the seed is in Spring after the last frost.
- Soak the seeds in water for 24 hours before planting. This will help soften the seed coat and speed up the germination process.
- Plant the seeds in well-draining soil as they prefer moist soil but don’t like to be waterlogged.
- Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil and keep them moist but not wet.
- Position the pots in a warm and bright location, but not in direct sunlight.
- Once the seedlings emerge, you can transplant them into individual pots or your garden
Germination: 10 to 21 days.

- As with all seeds, they must have adequate water to germinate, keep them moist but not too wet.
