The beauty and intensity of Red Rubin Basil makes it a perfect addition to your herb garden. This variety of basil produces large, smooth leaves and purple flowers. Red Rubin is said to be the easiest basil variety to start from seed. It produces a full, bushy plant that will grow to approximately 30 cm making it an ideal basil to grow in a container, it also makes a wonderful accent or border plant, adding colour and aroma.

Best sown directly2-3mm deep in the growing position, thin to 20-10cm apart
Plant space: 20cm
if sowing in mass scatter the seeds raking them over. Keep moist.
Germination: 6-10 days in soil temperature of 18-35°C
