A quick-growing variety of basil with intense deep red leaves that hold its colour better than most other purple varieties with an excellent aroma and flavor.
Ideal for growing in herb gardens, pots, and containers.
The best time to sow the seed is in Spring after the last frost.
- Soak the seeds in water for 24 hours before planting. This will help soften the seed coat and speed up the germination process.
- Plant the seeds in well-draining soil as they prefer moist soil but don’t like to be waterlogged.
- Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil and keep them moist but not wet.
- Position the pots in a warm and bright location, but not in direct sunlight.
- Once the seedlings emerge, you can transplant them into individual pots or your garden
Germination: 10 to 21 days.
