A smooth stringless variety producing attractive purple pods 12-15 cm (5-6") long. The pods contain smooth glossy cream-white beans with a great flavour.
A very sturdy high yielding variety of bush bean growing to around 50-60 cm in height, no staking is required.

Sow: 25mm deep.
Soaking seed overnight prior to sowing helps with the up-take of moisture for germination. Best sown direct in growing position in moist soil.

Maturity: 8-10 weeks
Feed with a soluble fertiliser every two weeks for stronger plants.
Adaptable to most good garden soils, prefers an open sunny position.
