A superb sweet savoury golden fleshed beetroot that provides great colour in salads or pickles.
Roots grow to 50mm in size and 60 grams in weight, leaves are also sweet and can be cooked like spinach.
A good source of fibre, potassium and calcium. Unlike red beetroot these do not bleed when cut.

For best results grow in trays of a quality seed raising mix transplant when 6cm high. Alternatively sow direct and thin to strongest plant.

Adaptable to most good garden soils, prefers an open sunny position. Avoid deformed beets by planting them in loose soil free from stones or rocks.
