Sweet and tender with that with “melt in your mouth” flavours. Its cylindrical shape permits high productivity and especially adapts to slicing and pickling.
Average size at maturity is 4 cm (1½") in diameter and 15 cm (6") long.
Sweet and tender at all stages of growth. The stalks are sweeter than other varieties and make the good tasting greens.
