Carnation Double Grenadine produces clove-scented blooms that are displayed profusely on slender, sturdy stems from late spring through to mid-summer in a magnificent display of mixed colours.
Strong stems make them ideal cut flowers. Perfect for all your flower arrangements and enhancing you garden and mood.
Ideal for bedding and cutting. Carnations have a goood vase life.
Carnations are a member of Diathus group of plants in the in Caryophyllaceae family of plants that are native to the Mediterranean region.
Carnation seeds can be sown almost year-round, avoiding the hottest months in most Australian climates.
- Best sown in trays or containers just below the surface and cover lightly.
- If sowing in trays and transplant when large enough to handle.

Germination: 7-21 days at a soil temperature of 18-22°C
