A large heirloom variety that originates from Berlicum in Holland that grows to 20 cm long with a blunted end. Resistant to virus and disease and a good keeper carrot. A perfect variety for gourmet cooks and upper-class markets.
Carrots grow best in full sun but tolerate some shade. Avoid deformed carrots by planting them in loose soil free from stones or rocks.
