CARROT Chantenay Red Cored - Daucus carota

A premium all-purpose carrot with good interior colour. Chantenay grows well in heavy, shallow soil. Roots are 12-15 cm (5-6”) long and 5 cm (2”) thick at the shoulder. Flavourful and excellent for dicing.
Grow notes:
Carrots grow best in full sun but tolerate some shade. Avoid deformed carrots by planting them in loose soil free from stones or rocks.
