Carrot Cosmic Purple produces medium length roots that have a smooth purple coloured skin and coreless orange flesh within. The high sugar content gives the roots a sweet flavour and the purple colour remains even after cooking.
Carrots grow best in full sun but tolerate some shade. Avoid deformed carrots by planting them in loose soil free from stones or rocks.
