Chinese celery is smaller and thinner that the common but more aromatic and has a much stronger flavour. Great for soups and stir-fries. It grows better in cool climate, in hot climate plant in shade.
Grow notes:
Prefers moist fertile well-drained soil but grows well in almost any garden soil in a sunny position.

Soaking seed overnight in warm to hot water will increase rates and speed germianation.
Sow: 6mm deep
Sow direct in shallow drills or grow in trays and transplant when large enough to handle.

Germination is best in 12-15 C, sow seed on the surface and firm gently as they require light to germinate.
