A tall heirloom variety of celery from the mid 20th century with dark green medium sized stringless stalks with a great flavour and crisp texture.
Leaves can be used as a flavouring either fresh or dried. Stalks are ideal in soups, stews, as a cooked vegetable or fresh in salads.
A reliable variety that is popular with home gardeners with a good tolerance to disease. Grow to around 60-70cm in height (including foliage)
