This chicory has long leaves and thin stems that are an excellent salad green with an assertive chicory taste.
Chicory has a deep taproot, is very drought resistant and high in mineral as well as protein content.
Prefers moist fertile well-drained soil but grows well in almost any garden soil in a sunny position.
