A hardy plant that will thrive in less-than-ideal conditions that is excellent for meadow planting, cottage gardens, cut flowers, borders or containers. Attracts bees and other beneficial insects to the garden.

The plant's greens are used in many Asian cuisines.

In addition, the plant contains various antioxidants (in the stem, leaf, and root tissues) that have potential long-term benefits for human health, although toxic (dioxin) properties have also been observed" Source Wikipedia 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0)
