The 'Georgia' Collard is a traditional Southern USA variety. Non heading with a rapid growth rate with large wavy blue green leaves. A favourite leaf to quick cook like spinach, excellent source of beta carotene and some vitamin C and calcium.
Prefers moist fertile well-drained soil but grows well in almost any garden soil in a sunny position.
Tropica: Mid Autumn to Early Spring.
Temperate: Mid Summer & Autumn.
Cold: Mid Summer to Mid Autumn.
Sow: 5mm deep.
Grow in trays of a good seed raising mix or sow direct where they are to grow
Germination: 8-10 days.
