A tall-standing plant that is slow to bolt and best suited for fresh leaf production.
Coriander grows well in mild and subtropical climates. Young coriander leaves and stems have a relatively mild aroma and are good for salad and garnish uses.

Culinary uses for Cilantro leaf include:
Mexican, Mediterranean, and Asian dishes; garnish, guacamole, chicken, beans, pork, rice, salsas, sauces, fish, and shellfish

Indian, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and Asian dishes; curries, curry powder, pickling, sausages, sauces, soups and stews.

Adaptable to most well-drained soil in a protected sunny position with adequate water.

The best time to sow the seed is in Spring after the last frost.

  • Soak the seeds in water for 24 hours before planting. This will help soften the seed coat and speed up the germination process.
  • Plant the seeds in well-draining soil as they prefer moist soil but don’t like to be waterlogged.
  • Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil and keep them moist but not wet.
  • Position the pots in a warm and bright location, but not in direct sunlight.
  • Once the seedlings emerge, you can transplant them into individual pots or your garden

Germination: 10 to 21 days.

*Please note:

  • Please do not be too hasty to discard seeds that do not germinate; seeds will often lay dormant until the conditions are similar to their natural germination requirements.
  • As with all seeds, they must have adequate water to germinate, keep them moist but not too wet.
  • These growth notes are provided as guidance only and do not guarantee successful germination.
  • The customer should do their due diligence that they are suited to their region.
