Cornsalad is also known as Mache and Lambs Lettuce. This variety grows as a fine-textured low growing plant that produces soft and tender spoon-shaped greens with a delicate nutty flavour.
If allowed to go to flower, the tiny white flowers attract beneficial insects.

Prefers moist fertile well-drained soil but grows well in almost any garden soil in a sunny position.
