The markings on Candy Stripe Cosmos are unique and vary with each flower. The plants thrive on neglect and reseed themselves easily making them a great choice for wildflower meadows or naturalized areas.
Cosmos can be a great cut flower with a vase life of 5-7 days. Harvest the blooms in the early morning hours selecting stems with flowers that have just opened.

Tropical: Winter to Spring
Temperate: Spring to Early Summer.
Cool climate: Mid-Spring to Early-Summer.
Sow: 6mm deep
Best sown direct or sow in trays and transplant when large enough to handle.
