Large dark crimson red flowers, ideal for border or cutting. It will bloom in early spring and continue blooming throughout summer and autumn.
Cosmos make great cut flowers with a vase life of 5-7 days. Harvest the blooms in the early morning hours selecting stems with flowers that have just opened.
The plants thrive on neglect and reseed themselves easily making them a great choice for wildflower meadows or naturalized areas.
