Cosmos Sensation Pinkie Rose has large 7.5-10 cm blooms of rosy pink that create a soft display of colour and make an ideal backdrop for lower-growing flowers in the garden bed.
Cosmos is an excellent cut flower with a vase life of 7-10 days.
Makes a colourful, bedding plant for low-maintenance dry areas are great for cut flowers.
One of the easiest and most attractive flowers in the spring and summer garden.
As with all cosmos plants, they self-seed heavily, so you are sure of another great display the following summer.
Cosmos bipinnatus is native to Mexico, Guatemala and Costa Rica.
Today, it is a popular garden plant, with many cultivars bred in just about every shade and colour.
The best time of year to sow Cosmos seeds is mid-spring to mid-summer in cold zones.
In temperate zones, the best time is early spring to mid-summer. In tropical zones seed should be sown in the dry mid-Autumn to late winter is best.
