Cosmos sulphureus Dwarf Mix is a unique compact bushy Cosmos that produces an abundance of yellow, gold, and red blooms from spring through summer. It creates illuminating displays towards the front of borders or in patio containers.
Comos are an all-time favourite that flower profusely over the spring and summer. They are a well-proven cottage garden flower that looks stunning when planted in mass or mixed with other cottage flowers.
It is excellent for cutting or bedding or an attractive pot plant for summer. They look great when planted in meadows and cottage gardens.
Cosmos makes excellent cut flowers with a vase life of 5-7 days. Harvest the blooms in the early morning, selecting stems with just-opened flowers.

As with all Cosmos, they thrive on neglect and reseed themselves easily, making them a great choice for wildflower meadows or naturalised areas.

Cosmos sulphureus originates from the wildflower meadows of Mexico, Central America, and northern South America and has become naturalised in other parts of North and South America as well as in Europe, Asia, and Australia.
The best time of year to sow Cosmos seeds is mid-spring to mid-summer in cold zones.
In temperate zones, the best time is early spring to mid-summer. In tropical zones seed should be sown in the dry mid-Autumn to late winter is best.

Germination: 14-21 days at a soil temperature of 20-25°C
