Popular as cut flowers. Harvest the blooms in the early morning, selecting stems with flowers that have just opened.
The plants thrive on neglect and re-seed themselves quickly making them an excellent choice for wildflower meadows or naturalising areas.

COSMOS sulphureus originates from the wildflower meadows of Mexico, Central America, and northern South America and have become naturalized in other parts of North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
