Cosmos polidor mix is a bright, striking mixture of orange, lemon, and red shades. The semi-double flowers of medium size are borne on bushy plants of fresh fern-like foliage. Earlier to bloom than many other Cosmos.

Make a colourful display in cottage gardens or mass planting as a wildflower meadow.

Cosmos are suitable for beds, borders, and pollinator gardens, where they attract birds, butterflies, bees, and other beneficial insects.

It is an easy-to-grow plant that is excellent for cutting, bedding, or as an attractive pot plant for summer. It looks great when planted in meadows and cottage gardens.
Cosmos makes superb cut flowers with a vase life of 5-7 days. Harvest the blooms in the early morning, selecting stems with just-opened flowers.

An excellent choice for low-maintenance gardens, these colourful bedding plants are great for cutting flowers and adding vibrant colour to any spring or summer garden.

Cosmos are a popular garden plant with many cultivars bred in every shade and colour.

As with all Cosmos, they thrive on neglect and reseed themselves easily, making them a great choice for wildflower meadows or naturalised areas.
Adaptable to most well-drained garden soils in a sunny position. Tolerant of average soils.

Cosmos sulphureus originates from the wildflower meadows of Mexico, Central America, and northern South America and has become naturalized in other parts of North and South America Europe, Asia, and Australia.

The best time of year to sow Cosmos seeds is mid-spring to mid-summer in cold zones.
In temperate zones, the best time is early spring to mid-summer. In tropical zones seed should be sown in the dry mid-Autumn to late winter is best.

Germination: 14-21 days at a soil temperature of 20-25°C
