Developed in Israel Beit Alpha is a Lebanese type cumber that produces an abundance of 20-30 cm (10-12”) long cucumbers that have a skin so thin that it does not require peeling.
It grows equally well on the ground or on a trellis. Ideal cucumber for cooking and pickling and slicing raw. They have a blocky shape, good flavour with mild taste.

Adaptable to most good garden soils that is well-drained in a sunny position; provide adequate food and water.

Best sown direct in a sunny well-drained position 3-4 seeds in a mound. Thin to the strongest two plants in each mound.
