Cactus dahlias are easily recognised by their dramatic spiky petals and vivid colours. Plants produce large long-stemmed, fully double and semi-double flowers with quilled and twisted petals that bloom in late summer to mid autumn.

Adaptable to most well-drained garden soils in a sunny position. It performs best in sandier soils and lightens heavy clay soils by adding sand.
