An attractive shrub or small tree that produces an abundance of pink, sweet-scented, rounded flower heads about 10 cm across during the summer months.
Forms a rounded bushy habit with glossy-green leaves with a bluish hue. ;Makes a good specimen that added will a mass of colour to the garden.
Evergreen in warmer climates but is deciduous in cold climates.

Native to South ;Africa.

Prefers light to medium well-drained soil in a protected sunny position, drought and frost resistant.

Grow notes:

Although seed can be sown most of the year in many parts of Australia seed is generally best sown in spring or autumn in temperate climates, avoid the coldest and hottest months of the year. The optimum germination temperature for germination is around 18-22°;C for this species.

  1. Soak seed overnight in tepid water.
  2. Sow 2-3mm keep warm
